The relative expression of angiotensinogen (AGT), renin, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and angiotensin II type 1 receptor (AT1R) was determined using quantitative real-time PCR on tissue from the brain (forebrain, midbrain and hindbrain) to investigate the effect of cold-induced pulmonary hypertension syndrome (PHS) in broilers aged 42 days.
