A revised diagnosis of Palaeoglaesum Wagner (Diptera, Psychodidae, Bruchomyiinae) with description of two new species from Cretaceous Myanmar amber

The diagnosis of Palaeoglaesum Wagner is revised to add details of the head, wing and male genitalia. A critical discussion of character states observed in this genus is provided to clarify details pertinent to accurate species delimitation.
