Abstract
Two proteoglycans (HPP and LPP) with different ratios of protein/polysaccharide were extracted from S. glabra. The chemical compositions, relative average molecular weights, monosaccharide compositions, FT-IR spectra, and rheological properties of the two proteoglycans were determined.
