Abstract
The objectives of the study are to establish evolutionary trends in the miogypsinid foraminifera from Mediterranean Tethyan carbonates in Turkey. Taxa classified under the genera Miogypsinella, Postmiogypsinella and Miogypsina and their assemblages closely resemble the fauna described from European marine sequences.
