Abstract
Age-related aggregation of beta-amyloid is an upstream pathologic event before the clinical onset of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Aggregation of beta-amyloid disrupts the sleep-wake cycle and normal physiological fluctuation of beta-amyloid in the brain.
