Abstract
Two rare Scapania species, S. calcicola and S. glaucocephala, are recorded for the first time for Turkey during bryofloristic studies in the Black Sea region, north of Turkey. The record of S. glaucocephala is new to Southwest Asia and to the Mediterranean bryoflora and located at the southern limit of its range.
