Abstract
Phenanthrene (PHE) is harmful to human health and is difficult to be eliminated from environment. In this study, an aerobic bacterium capable of use PHE as a sole carbon source and energy was isolated and classified as Klebsiella sp. PD3 according to 16S rDNA analysis.
