Abstract
Molecular targeted therapy has improved the prognosis for patients with advanced cancers with driver mutations as seen in lung adenocarcinomas, leukaemia, and gastrointestinal stromal tumours. Targeted agents include antibodies or small molecules that specifically bind to proteins coded by driver alterations.
