Late Miocene to late Pleistocene geomagnetic secular variation at high northern latitudes

SUMMARY We report a palaeomagnetic study of Icelandic lavas of late Miocene to late Pliocene age to test the geocentric axial dipole hypothesis at high northern latitudes.
