Temperature, Dynamics, and Enzyme-Catalyzed Reaction Rates
Abstract
We review the adaptations of enzyme activity to different temperatures. Psychrophilic (cold-adapted) enzymes show significantly different activation parameters (lower activation enthalpies and entropies) from their mesophilic counterparts.
