Abstract
The roots of Salvia miltiorrhiza are known to exhibit antioxidant and antibacterial activities. To improve the antioxidant and antibacterial activities of S. miltiorrhiza roots, the roots were fermented with Aspergillus oryzae at 25 °C for 3 weeks.
