Structure of Urocanate Hydratase from the protozoan Trypanosoma cruzi
Abstract
The enzyme Urocanate Hydratase (UH) participates in the catabolic pathway of L-histidine. Trypanosoma cruzi Urocanate Hydratase (TcUH) is identified as a therapeutic molecular target in the WHO/TDR Targets Database.
