Abstract
Frequency dependent complex magnetic permeability is determined for a laboratory synthesized magnetic fluid having magnetite nanoparticles in the frequency range 0.3 MHz to 3 GHz. The effect of particle concentration, static magnetic field strength and field orientation over dielectric properties of magnetic fluid is studied.
