Abstract
The present work demonstrates a fast and cost efficient method to verify the authenticity of hazelnut cultivars. RAPD-PCR analysis was used to experimentally check 13 different hazelnut cultivars by using 16 RAPD-primers. It was possible to distinguish between all hazelnut cultivars by agarose gel electrophoresis band pattern.
