Genetic profiling: Differentiation and identification of hazelnut cultivars (Corylus avellana L.) using RAPD-PCR

The present work demonstrates a fast and cost efficient method to verify the authenticity of hazelnut cultivars. RAPD-PCR analysis was used to experimentally check 13 different hazelnut cultivars by using 16 RAPD-primers.
