First mitochondrial genomes of five hoverfly species of the genus Eristalinus (Diptera: Syrphidae)

The hoverfly genus Eristalinus (Diptera, Syrphidae) contains many widespread pollinators. The majority of the species of Eristalinus occur in the Afrotropics and their molecular systematics still needs to be investigated.
