Abstract
The M. tuberculosis GmhB protein converts the d-glycero-α-d-manno-heptose 1,7-bisphosphate (GMB) intermediate into d-glycero-α-d-manno-heptose 1-phosphate by removing the phosphate group at the C-7 position.
