Abstract
White adipose tissue (WAT) expands with angiogenesis. We have demonstrated that adipose-tissue-macrophages (ATMs) highly express platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)-B in obesity, and exposure of PDGF-B stimulates detachment of pericytes (PCs) from vessels.
