Abstract
The galactosylation of xyloglucan blocks many of the enzymatic processes targeting this oligosaccharide. We found that the expression of a gene encoding Aspergillus oryzae β‐galactosidase (LacA) is induced in the presence of xyloglucan oligosaccharides.
