Abstract
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a disorder of altered metabolic pathways, is increasing worldwide. Recent studies established obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) as NAFLD risk factors. Studies have ascertained that CIH is independently related to NAFLD.
