Abstract
Bone metastasis from breast and prostate carcinomas is facilitated by activation of bone-resorbing osteoclasts. Using proteomics approaches, we have identified peroxiredoxin-4 (PRDX4) as a cancer-secreted mediator of osteoclastogenesis.
