Abstract
ZnO nanocrystals doped transparent glass and glass-ceramics with visible emissions were successfully synthesized through melt-quenching method. Structures and defect-related photoluminescence of quenched glasses and glass-ceramics were significantly dependent on ZnO content in precursor and post heat treatment time.
