Abstract
The immature stages of the brown chafers Adoretus tenuimaculatus Waterhouse, 1875 were investigated morphologically using scanning electron microscopy. The scarabaeiform larvae of A. tenuimaculatus are peculiar for bearing a pair of eye spots on the head capsule, devoid of palidium but numerous hamate setae on the raster.
