Fcγ receptor (FcγR) promotes various immune responses through interactions with the Fc portion of immunoglobulin G (IgG). FcγRIIIb is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-linked protein expressed on neutrophils and triggers degranulation and opsonic phagocytosis.
