Abstract
The five species currently placed in the North American genus Haplandrus LeConte 1862 are examined, with new information on immature stages, distribution, and life history. The type-species, H. fulvipes (Herbst 1797) as a member of Stenochiinae/ Cnodalonini is redescribed along with its larva and pupa; a closely related new species is proposed for specimens from peninsular Florida.
