Cationic switchable lipids: pH-triggered molecular switch for siRNA delivery
Abstract
A pH-sensitive molecular switch able to change its conformation upon protonation at endosomal pH values is embedded into the structure of cationic lipidoid materials, thus conferring endosomal escape properties.
