Abstract
A new ommatin beetle, Omma lii sp. nov. (Insecta: Coleoptera: Archostemata) is described in mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber from northern Myanmar. This is the first species of this Late Triassic-recent genus of archaic beetles to be described from amber inclusions, including genitalia, and is the first unequivocal ommatine cupedid from Burmese amber.
