Abstract
Loeffler's endocarditis (LE) is an acute form of primary restrictive cardiomyopathy. Patients affected often have a hypereosinophilic syndrome and cardiac involvement. Hypereosinophilia and cardiac involvement are also seen in the allergic eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Churg-Strauss syndrome).
