Abstract
Even though leaders are seen as trustworthy, they sometimes behave in a self-serving way. In order to understand employees’ reactions, we examine followers’ trust, desire for retaliation, and supervisor-directed deviance towards a leader who behaves self- servingly, and we explore how the organization’s ethical climate moderates these relationships.
