Abstract
An infant stimulation program based on Jean Piaget’s theory of cognitive development is presented. Piaget emphasized the importance of early reflexes and sensorimotor patterns in the development of intellectual behavior. Methods of facilitating these early sucking, visual, auditory, and prehensile responses are suggested.
