Abstract
Binder-free graphene-supported Ge nanowires, Si nanowires, and Si nanocrystals were studied for use as negative electrode materials in rechargeable lithium ion batteries (LIBs). Graphene obtained from reduced graphene oxide (RGO) helped stabilize electrochemical cycling of all of the nanomaterials.
