Abstract
Most surgeons routinely place intraperitoneal drains at the time of pancreatic resection but this practice has recently been challenged.Evaluate the outcome when pancreatic resection is performed without operatively placed intraperitoneal drains.In all, 226 consecutive patients underwent pancreatic resection.
