Abstract
To analyse the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) haplogroups of patients with hip osteoarthritis (OA) and those of healthy controls in a Spanish population.mtDNA haplogroups were assigned to 550 cases of hip OA and 505 clinically asymptomatic controls.
