Abstract
Eusuchians with deep snouts and labiolingually compressed teeth are known from the Palaeogene of Laurasia. These are usually referred to Pristichampsinae, but the type species, Pristichampsus rollinati , is based on insufficiently diagnostic material and should be treated as a nomen dubium.
