Abstract
Host-rock chemical alteration and syntectonic veins in and near fault zones are evidence for episodic fracturing and fluid transport during faulting. Alteration minerals, vein fillings, and fluid inclusions may be used to estimate fault-fluid chemistry, temperature, and pressure.
