Abstract
A highly fertile mantle xenolith entrained in the Upper Cretaceous Daxizhuang basalt, Shandong Province, China provides petrological evidence for reaction between basaltic melt and refractory peridotite in Mesozoic lithospheric mantle beneath the eastern North China craton.
