Abstract
The effects of haw pectin pentasaccharide (HPPS) on hypercholesterolemia were investigated in high-fat fed mice. HPPS significantly decreased the levels of serum total cholesterol (TC) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c), and hepatic TC.
