Characteristics and geological setting of synkinematic svecokarelian granitoids in southern finland

Synkinematic granitoids are the predominant component of the Svecokarelian crust. Their zircon UPb ages vary from 1900 to 1860 Ma (mainly 1890-1870 Ma), being roughly similar to those of mafic plutonic rocks and metavolcanic rocks.
