The poorly known millipede Aporodesminus wallacei Silvestri 1904 appears to be a widespread pantropical species currently reported from St. Helena Island (southern Atlantic Ocean), the Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti (central Polynesia), and the vicinity of Sydney, Australia (Pacific Ocean).
