The bioactivity of bacterial isolates in Hong Kong waters for the inhibition of barnacle (Balanus amphitrite Darwin) settlement

Three bacterial isolates (Micrococcus sp., Rhodovulum sp., and Vibrio sp.) from natural biofilms were investigated for their effects on cyprid settlement of Balanus amphitrite in laboratory bioassays.
