Abstract
We report here the use of perfluorosulfonic acid (Nafion) as a substratum for the growth of bovine aortal endothelial cells. This support which can be generated in a number of forms is at least as efficient in maintaining the growth of endothelial and other cell types as tissue culture grade polystyrene (TCP) and represents an advance in this regard over polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon).
