The pH and redox sensitivity of electrically conducting polymer films consisting of a mixture of polyaniline (PANI) and plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) have been studied with potentiometry, UV–vis spectroscopy and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDXA).
