Abstract
Aims: Renal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) is a major cause of acute renal failure. The mechanisms of I/R injury include endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, inflammatory responses, hypoxia, and generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS).
