Segnosauria, a new infraorder of carnivorous dinosaurs
Abstract
A new infraorder of theropod dinosaurs, Segnosauria, is established which includes a single family Segnosauridae Perle, 1979. Representatives of this infraorder display a highly distinctive, opisthopubic pelvis, a slender mandible and anteriorly edentulous lower and upper jaw.
