Abstract
The magnesite deposit of Hohentauern/Sunk, hosted in Visean carbonate rocks, is one of the best-exposed examples of “Veitsch type” sparry magnesite deposits, which are located in the Veitsch nappe of the Austroalpine Greywacke zone (Eastern Alps/Austria).
