Abstract
The first Episiphneus (Myospalacinae, Rodentia, Mammalia) fossils of the Late Pliocene from Northeast China are described here as E. dalianensis sp. nov., which were collected from the lowermost fossiliferous deposits from Jinyuan Cave of Luotuo Hill in Dalian, Liaoning Province.
