Compact Slotted Microstrip Antenna for 5G Applications Operating at 28 GHz
Abstract
The microstrip antennas operating at 28 GHz for 5G applications are presented in this paper. Three different models of microstrip antennas with variations in slots are proposed. The operating frequency of 28 GHz is considered to be suitable for 5G antenna design. The low-cost FR4 substrate of dielectric constant of 4.4, thickness of 0.8 mm and loss tangent of 0.02 is used in the design. The performance of the antennas in terms of return loss,...
