Abstract
Invasive Burmese pythons ( Python bivittatus ) have introduced a nonnative pentastomid parasite ( Raillietiella orientalis ) to southern Florida that has spilled over to infect native snakes. However, the extent of spillover, regarding prevalence and intensity, is unknown.
