We read with great interest the paper from Pitocco et al. [[1]Pitocco D. et al.Diabetes Res Clin Pract. 2020; 164108220Google Scholar], that raises the point of the remarkable absence of clinical CoV infection in the type 1 diabetic population. The Authors suggest a search of such cases in subjects with type 1 diabetes, who represent a high risk population.
