Abstract
Genetic and pathomechanistic overlap exists between aneurysmal thoracic aortopathy and chondrodysplasias. Dysregulated TGF-β superfamily signaling, altered extracellular matrix organization, and endoplasmic reticulum stress emerge as shared disease processes.
