In this response, we address the comments by D. Bilardello on the paper by Brandt et al. (2019, https://doi.org/10.1029/2018JB016968 ). His main point is that the Mafra rhythmites are remagnetized as are supposed to be all Paleozoic sediments in the Paraná Basin in the context of a widespread Jurassic‐Cretaceous remagnetization in South America.
